Curtis Luck finishes Omega Dubai Desert Classic 5-under

17-year-old Rayhan Thomas turned in a final round 2-over 74 and finished the week tied for 60th at 3-over
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (February 5, 2017) -- It was another successful week for the world's second ranked amateur Curtis Luck. The native of Australia completed his week at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic 5-under and in a tie for 23rd, another strong showing for the soon to be professional.
Luck, who is at least waiting until after his upcoming Masters appearance to turn professional, closed his week at the Emirates Golf Club with a 3-over 75. The final round tally was the first time all week that Luck failed to turn in a round of par or better. Luck started his week with an even-par 72 before shooting consecutive 4-under 68's.
17-year-old Rayhan Thomas turned in a final round 2-over 74 and finished the week tied for 60th at 3-over. For Thomas this was the first time he had made the cut in a European Tour event.
