2016 U.S. Senior Women's Qualifying Results

(September 3, 2016) -- With just a couple of weeks remaining before the U.S. Women's Senior Amateur at Wellesley Country Club in Wellesley, MA qualifying has concluded.

Karen Garcia is set to defend her title a year after outlasting Pamela Kuong 1 up in the championship match at Hillwood Country Club.

Garcia will be joined by many of the top senior players in the country with the field set to play 36-holes of stroke-play qualifying, beginning September 17th, to determine the top 64 for match play. The U.S. Senior Women's Open will run through September 22nd when the championship match will be held.

ABOUT THE U.S. Senior Women's Amateur Qualifying

The U.S. Senior Women's Amateur Qualifier is open to all competitors with an index 14.4 or lower who will be at least 50 years of age at the start of the championship. Format is 18-holes of stroke play. Qualifying sites scattered across the U.S.
