NASHVILLE, TN (June 19, 2016) -- Riley Rennell of Columbia outlasted Alexandra Farnsworth of Nashville to win her first Tennessee Women’s State Amateur Championship at Hillwood Country Club in Nashville with a 2 and 1 victory.
Rennell got off to a quick start winning three of the first four holes of the match. Rennell maintained a comfortable lead and made the turn four up in the match. Rennell made birdie on the par five fifteenth hole to regain control of the match. Both players made par on the par three sixteenth hole and the par five seventeenth hole giving Rennell the victory 2 and 1.
