Turned Pro 2016
Current Index: +3

Coming from a family of golfers, Charlie Danielson turns pro after the Palmer Cup, June 24-26, 2016. He will likely make his debut at the John Deere Classic, where he has received a sponsor's exemption. A standout player for the University of Illinois, Danielson got a taste of the big stage after qualifying for the Northern Trust Open in a one day Collegiate Showcase the Monday prior at Riviera. He scored well enough the first day to be inside the top 10 and easily made the cut.

After a solid performance at the 2016 NCAA Championship, Danielson qualified for the U.S. Open. And get this. He did so by beating PGA Tour winner Tony Finau in a sectional playoff. We say Charlie is ready and wish him the best of luck on Tour.
