MESCALERO, N.M. (August 6, 2012) - UTEP Men's Golfer, Devin Miertschin dusted the field at the Inn of the Mountain Gods Championship GC on Monday with his final round eight under par 64.
The El Paso, Texas native claimed the 2012 Player's Championship by an impressive four shots over his UTEP golf coach, Scott Lieberwirth.
Miertschin rolled over the field of the Men's Gross Division, winning by 12 shots over runner-up Shawn Haberstroh. Bradley Lane and Christopher Ortiz were tied for 3rd.
Lieberwirth took top honors in the Professional Flight, beating Mark England by four shots behind a pair of 68s.
