Australian Women's Stroke Play: Breanna Elliott medals

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA (Jan 18, 2012) -- Victorian Breanna Elliott took out the Medalist honors following rounds of 73,72 to be at 1-under par at the Australian Women’s Amateur Championship in Melbourne.

Elliott finished two strokes ahead of World Number 1 amateur Lydia Ko (NZ) who finished with rounds of 76 and 71.

Adriana Brent (NSW) and World Number 3 amateur Cecilia Cho (NZ) are tied with Japan’s Rio Watanabe in third place at 3-over par.

National Squad members Ashlee Dewhurst (Tas) and Minjee Lee (WA) finished tied in sixth place at 4-over par.
