AUSTIN, Tex. (Aug. 25, 2013) -- Kody King continued his strong play by shooting rounds of 67-72-71--210 to win by two shots at the 2013 Bluebonnet Cup at Bluebonnet Hill Golf Course. Held by Austin Amateur Golf, the Bluebonnet Cup is a 54-hole individual stroke play tournament that draws a good field from Central Texas annually. King's 67 in Round 1 gave him a share of the lead with Steve Paterson. His weekend rounds kept him ahead of a surging group of contenders. Mike Allen took second place, firing a final-round 68 to upend Eric Garza (3rd, 213) and Jerry Thorn (4th, 214). Paterson and Chris Shive tied for fifth place, five back of King.
