While playing the 9th hole at Spring Valley on Labor Day 2011, I was DRILLED squarely in the back of my skull by a tee shot from the 18th hole. A good 200-220 shot on the fly. I got my wits back in about a minute and proceeded to par the hole. I continued on and ultimately finished my round with a career tying low round score of 78. The last time I got hit in the head was my first day out on the course in 1989 and I shot a career round worst score of 137. I guess my game has officially come fully 'round circle.
