About
Go West young man to find your fame and fortune. That's exactly what I did. I am originally from Augusta, GA where they hold an annual gathering of golfers every year at Augusta National. The Masters! I attended Augusta State, a Division II school that won back-to-back NCAA Division I golf titles in 2010 and 2011. I have been blessed to have lived all over the world - as a San Francisco resident and member of the Olympic Club and also as a member of Champions Retreat in Augusta, Ga. I love this game. I am a latecomer to golf as I starting playing at the age of 42. Golf for me mirrors life as it presents all of the world’s wonderful experiences and challenges. Most of all golf has enriched my life though the many friends that I have met through the game. Golf is a humbling sport that provides everyone the same experiences no matter your financial status, gender or ethnicity. I believe the world would be a better place if all wars and disagreements were settled on the golf course. Hopefully the matches would be dormie. Two final thoughts, I hope the golf Gods simplify the rules of the game one day. I love to play hidden gems of golf courses that have loads of character … please share your special golf links with me.
