When he was three years old, Kent first picked up a club when his Dad handed him a plastic driver and let him whack away before shooing Kent to hide behind a tree when his father's friends teed off. It led to an incredible fairway wood game out of bunkers, but that's gone to the wayside like his collegiate amateur career at Chapman University.
