Crowley shot a final-round 68 to come back and tip Clancy Waugh, who finished third.
LAKE SUCCESS, NY (June 5, 2013) -- Matt Dobyns fired rounds of 71-70-70--211 to win the 2013 Long Island Open Championship at Fresh Meadow Country Club.
Dylan Crowley finished second after rounds of 73-72-68--213 to take low amateur honors.
Crowley, who just finished his sophomore year at St. John's, shot a final-round 68 to come back and tip Clancy Waugh, who finished third.
Waugh, a junior, struggled with a final-round 74 to miss out on the low am honors.
Joe Saladino, a recent winner at the Havemeyer Invitational and Travis Invitational, shot rounds of 73-71-74--218 to finish six shots back.
