Skip Berkmeyer captured his 5th Normandie Amateur title by winning a 3-way playoff with Phil Caravia and Buddy Allen

ST. LOUIS, Missouri (May 19, 2013) -- Skip Berkmeyer captured his 5th Normandie Amateur title by winning a 3-way playoff with Phil Caravia and Buddy Allen. Berkmeyer birdied the 1st hole at Normandie Golf Club for the victory. The three finished at 1-under 141 for the 35-holes. Berkmeyer led after a first-round 68 and withstood final-rounds of 69 and 70 from Allen and Caravia, respectively, to prevail in the playoff.
About the Normandie Amateur

36 hole stroke play tournament with open and senior divisions. Entries are open to amateur golfers who are affiliated with or are a member of a club which is a Member Club of the Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association.
