Back-to-Back Aces: Oakland women's golfer does impossible
ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland's Kassandra Komma did what most golfers would call the impossible on Wednesday afternoon at R&S Sharf Golf Course.
Komma, a junior from Niddatal Hessen, Germany, tallied her first-ever hole-in-one on No. 3, a 177-yard hole. She then followed that up with another ace on the very next par 3, No. 7, which measured 108 yards. Komma carded a 3-under-par 69 for the round.
Komma just concluded her junior season of competition. She finished in a tie for 10th place at The Summit League Championship with an overall score of 244 (+28). Komma finished sixth in the league with a scoring average of 79.00 and earned All-Summit League second team accolades.
