McClure was three shots better than Hunter Rappleye (65-65) and Stephen Griggs (62-65), who both finished tied for second place
DAVIS, Calif. (April 15, 2013) -- University of Pacific golfer Matt McClure shot rounds of 62-65 at the par-67 Davis Golf Course to win the 2013 Davis City Championship.
McClure was three shots better than Hunter Rappleye (65-65) and Stephen Griggs (62-65), who both finished tied for second place.
In the Senior Championship division Tom Marks (65-68) defeated Herb Jensen (66-67) on the first hole of sudden death to take the title. Steve Hendricks (70-65) finish in third.
The First Flight was won by Devin Engebretsen (70-70) followed by Ted Villanueva (69-77) and Doug Speakman (73-73).
Dave Taormino (67-79) won the second flight followed by Gary Traynham (74-75) and Todd Trisch (77-74).
The third flight was won by Gil Torres (79-74). Gil Roque (79-77) finished second, tied in third place was Greg Leuterio (79-84) and Jon Adams (82-81).

36-hole stroke play championship with Open, Senior (ages 50+) and Super Senior (ages 65+) divisions, as well as a Flighted Handicap division for handicaps of 6 and above. NCGA Points Event.
