Jeff Gilchrist and Steve Woods successfully defended their title

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (March 26, 2013) -- Jeff Gilchrist and Steve Woods successfully defended their title at the 2013 Sacramento City Men’s Four-Ball Championship. The repeat winners knocked off Andrew and Austin Roberts 3-and-2 in Sunday’s championship match at Bing Maloney Golf Course. Gilchrist and Woods defeated Mark Miller and Jason Anthony, 2-and-1 to gain access into the finale. Team Roberts, meanwhile, beat Vince Venard and Mike Williams, 2-and-1, in the semifinals. Venard and Williams led all teams during stroke-play qualifying with a low score of 65.
