Whitney, an AGC member and Player Staff member, fired a 1-over 73 to take the lead
LAS CRUCES, New Mexico (March 23, 2013) -- Amateurgolf.com member and Player Staff member Cyrus Whitney fired a first-round 1-over 73 and leads at the 2013 Sun Country Golf Association Spring Stroke Play Championship.
Whitney’s 73 is one shot better than Andrew Tapia, who opened with a 74.
Play continues Sunday with the second and final round from Picacho Hills Country Club.
