SAN MATEO, Calif. (Feb. 16, 2013) -- Steve Hendrick fired a 68 and leads by four after Round 1 at the San Mateo County Championship at Poplar Creek Golf Course.
Hendrick is four shots ahead of of John Avila, who sits alone in second place.
Bob Olds is in third after a 73 while Earl Stewart (74) and Jim Ono (76) are also in contention.
About the San Mateo County
36 hole NCGA points open to all amateur golfers 18 years of age and older, with an index of 6.0 or lower. There will be men's, senior men's, and women's divisions all played at scratch.
