Morris was three shots better than runner-up Hayden Burnett
ROWLETT, Texas (Feb. 11, 2013) -- A.J. Morris fired rounds of 73-73--146 to win the Texas Golf Association's Medalist Series North No. 1 season opener at Waterview Golf Club.
Morris was three shots better than runner-up Hayden Burnett.
John Schaefer, who fired a 1-under 71 in the final round, was third.
About the Texas Medalist Series - North
36-hole stroke play competition as part of the TGA Medalist Series, conducted for low- handicap amateurs. To play in a TGA Medalist Series tournament, each player will be required to pay an annual registration fee.
