Play was suspended at 11:10 a.m. EDT due to heavy rainfall and did not resume

IRVINGTON, Virg. (Aug. 25, 2012) –– Second round play at the 9th Virginia State Golf Association Public Links Championship on Saturday, Aug. 25 at the Golden Eagle Golf Club was suspended at 11:10 a.m. EDT due to heavy rainfall and did not resume. The second round will resume on Sunday, Aug. 26 at 7:30 a.m. The final round is also scheduled to be conducted on Sunday. Competitors will not be regrouped following the completion of the second round.
