Phil Gieseker and Michael Horn are the medalists after two rounds of stroke play at the 2012 Golf Association of Michigan Championship

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. (Aug. 20, 2012) -- Phil Gieseker and Michael Horn are the medalists after two rounds of stroke play at the 2012 Golf Association of Michigan Championship. Gieseker followed a first-round 68 with a second-round 74 while Horn shot 67 in the first round before a second-round 75. The leaders are a shot ahead of a trio tied for third, which includes Michael Coriasso, Robert Mattiesen and Matt Paterini. The low 30 players after Round 2 will move on to the final 18 holes Tuesday.
About the GAM Championship

54-hole stroke play championship with qualifying required for those who do not meet exemption criteria. Open to men with handicaps of 5.4 or lower.
