PINEHURST, N.C. (July 17, 2012) -- Jaye Marie Green leads the 110th Women's North and South Amateur following first-round play. At Pinehurst No. 8, Marie Green, the No. 1 ranked women's player in the Golfweek/amateurgolf.com Rankings, fired a 3-under 69 and leads the No. 2 ranked player Moriya Jutanugarn by one shot. Kailey Walsh, who, like Marie Green, hails from Boca Raton, Fla. is tied with Jutanugarn for second place.
