Lukowicz captures his first RIGA championship by 2 strokes shooting 70-72- 1 under par 142

PROVIDENCE, RI (July 1, 2012) -- West Warwick CC's Jamie Lukowicz captures his first RIGA championship by 2 strokes shooting 70-72- 1 under par 142. He trailed first round leader Robert Goldman (Newport National) through 11 holes, then birdied the 130 yard par 3 12th and made eagle on the par 5 13th to pull away from the field. Triggs Memorial's Dave Conley captured the Net Division shooting 6 under par to beat out NECC's Steve Royer. Women's division - Luann Dias wins the gross division by 7 strokes over Linda Meldonian and Barbara O'Neill edged out Sue Vincent by 1 to capture the Net Division
