Tim Hamm makes a dramatic comeback to rally into the Semifinals at the Minnesota Players Championship

MAPLE PLAIN, MN (June 19, 2012) -- The semifinals are set at the 2012 Minnesota Players' Championship at Windsong Farm Golf Club in Maple Plain, MN. Tim Hamm, Rush Creek will take on Robert Bell, University and Colton Buege, Fox Hollow will meet Andy Jacobson, Eagle Creek. Tim Hamm reached the semi's with a brilliant comeback against Scott Thomas, Brackets Crossing, from 5-down with nine holes to play. Thomas won four consecutive holes on the front nine, including the ninth hole to go 5-up. In a dramatic reversal, Hamm would win the next 7 holes and par the 17th hole for 2 and 1 victory. In the other quarterfinal matches Robert Bell defeated Kyle Beversdorf 1-up, Colton Buege never trailed in his 2 and 1 victory over Troy Johnson, and Andy Jacobson took charge in the middle of his match against Troy Johnson and posted a 3 and 2 victory.
