Paul Simson birdies the second playoff hole defeated Jim Grainger to seal his 25th CGA championship
ADVANCE, NC (5/17/12) - Paul Simson of Raleigh, NC has won many titles in his storied golf career but he earned a new one today, "Most All-Time CGA Championships." Simson's birdie on the second playoff hole defeated Jim Grainger of Charlotte, NC to seal his 25th CGA championship title which surpasses Dale Morey's long-standing record of 24. Simson now holds six North Carolina Senior Amateur Championship crowns (2006, '07, '09, '10, '11, '12).
