Vaughn fired a final-round 68 to distance himself from the field and take home the 9th Annual event

HAMPTON, Georgia (April 27, 2012) -- Emile Vaughn fired a final-round 68 to distance himself from the field and take home the 9th Annual Georgia Senior Invitational at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club. Vaughn (73-74-68--215) was three shots better than Bernie Shealy (70-79-69---218) despite a valiant charge in Friday's final round. Pete Allen (78-73-71--222) and Dale Porter (73-72-78--223) finished third and fourth, respectively. Charles McClaskey and Gary Shimmin finished in a first-place tie for the Super Senior Division title.
