The amateurgolf.com member from Stockton wins by one over Juan Gonzales
DAVIS, Calif. (April 15, 2012) -- After some unsettled weather earlier in the week the sun came out this weekend for the Davis City Championship. Josh Stone of Stockton prevailed over the 56 player field with a 12-under par two day score of 122.
Stone started his day one stroke off the pace set by Juan Gonzales who shot an opening round 8-under-par 59 on the par 67 Davis Golf Course.
In his second round, Stone fired a 5-under-par 62 finishing one stroke ahead of Gonzales who carded a 64. Gonzales finished alone in second place at 123.
Past champion Nick Amen finished in third with a 124 (61-63).

36-hole stroke play championship with Open, Senior (ages 50+) and Super Senior (ages 65+) divisions, as well as a Flighted Handicap division for handicaps of 6 and above. NCGA Points Event.
