SKLZ announced that over 140 new instructors have joined the SKLZ Golf Staff Program
CARLSBAD, Calif. (Dec. 11, 2011) -- SKLZ, the industry leader in sports training equipment, instructional content and programs, today announced that over 140 new instructors have joined the SKLZ Golf Staff Program during the past 6 months, expanding the program to over 700 members nationwide. By getting on staff, they become official SKLZ ambassadors and receive a package containing 18 core teaching aids and a custom-embroidered staff bag.
"No one is more important in helping golfers improve their games than the instructors, and we're proud to have such a large group of them rely on SKLZ products to compliment their instruction," said Greg Shoman, SKLZ vice president of marketing.
According to Janie C. Farina, LPGA Member, Girls Golf Club of Pinehurst, "In 20 years of teaching golf, I have never found a system that incorporates the best tools of the trade like the SKLZ system does. The SKLZ system facilitates all the learning modalities: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic that makes the task of getting the point across a snap!"
Mark Degnan, PGA Member, and PGA Instructor at Torrey Pines Golf Course, adds, "Incorporating SKLZ training aids in my lessons makes my job easier because it raises the student's awareness faster and allows them to feel what I want them to feel in their golf swing. The training aids expose the areas we need to work on and quicken the pace at which they learn. I really enjoy having a variety of tools available."
More SKLZ Staff Program members extol the benefits of the program:"The SKLZ Staff Program provides me with quality teaching aids that I can select and use to help each individual student. The staff bag enhances the presentation on the lesson tee and draws attention to the variety of training aids available. With SKLZ I am able to introduce students to the world of teaching aids and how they can use them to help improve their games." ~ Stephen Conte, PGA Member
The program is expanding globally with teaching pros from around the world signing up at an accelerating pace. This unique program includes a full package of teaching aids designed to support three key training categories including Accuracy, Distance and Putting, allowing instructors and players to focus on the specific areas of the game that need work. SKLZ continues to add new and innovative training aids to the Staff Program, including the new Golf Flex strength and tempo trainer as well as the Refiner Pro Graphite hinged training driver.
