Jeff Burda and Jay Guerin win the Senior and Super Senior divisions at the State Fair Championship at Mather Golf Course
MATHER, CALIF. (Sept 5, 2011) -- Jeff Burda of Modesto chalked up his third win of the 2011 season by following up a first round 70 with a 68 Sunday to win the State Fair Senior division by a single stroke over Mark Miller.
"I played well," sadi Burda after the round. "Yesterday I had 4 birdies with one double bogey. Today I had 7 birdies with a strange two-stroke penalty on number 9 by hitting the wrong ball. Same number with a similar blue marking, first time this has ever happened to me."
