Steven Hakes wins his second Nevada Senior
BOULDER CITY, Nev. (July 10, 2011) -- Rain shortens the Nevada State Seniors to a 36 hole finish. Steven Hakes fires a 68 (-4) and 69 (-3) at the Cascada Golf Club to win his second Championship in as many years. Doug Pool, fresh off his qualification for the United States Senior Open, finishes second with a two day total of 146 (+2). Gary Carpendale finished in 3rd at 149 (+5).
Burke Cahill fires a 1 under 71 (-1) and a 1 over 73 (+1) to win the net portion of the event. Jim Cail finished with a blistering Net 65 (-7) on day two to finish in second at 146 (+2). Randy Sears shot 150 (+6) to take home 3rd place.
