Seven amateurs make the cut at the 2011 Arizona Open

APACHE JUNCTION, AZ (June 17, 2011) -- Seven amateurs made the cut at the 2011 Arizona Open being held at the Prospector Course at Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club. Matt Record from Phoenix shot 75-69--144, ten shots back of the leader Jarett Hamamoto who fired 66-68--134. Camron Howell from Queen Creek had 76-69--145, while Jeremy DeFalco from Tucson had 75-70--145. The final round takes place Saturday, June 18.
About the Arizona Open

Put on by the Southwestern Section PGA. Open to professionals and amateurs. This will be a 54-hole individual stroke play event with the field being cut to the low 60 and ties after 36 holes.
