Jones Cup Invitational: Hodges (70) Takes Lead

Ocean Forest Golf Club shows its tough side; takes toll on many of the elite amateur field

Sea Island, GA- An elite field of 84 of the best amateurs from the U.S. and Great Britain/Ireland descended upon Georgia's Ocean Forest Golf Club today, and they found anything but 'easy' on the menu.

Greens that run at 12 on the stimp meter and steady winds were just enough to keep scores out of the 60's on a course that is known for it's 'tough love.'

Georgia Senior Jason Hodges fired a 2-under par 70 to take the first round lead.
