Oklahoma 4-Ball: Funk, Wilkins roll

Daniel Funk and Preston Wilkins won the 2011 Four-Ball by five shots.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (May 16, 2011) -- Daniel Funk and Preston Wilkins joined to rout the competition at the 2011 Oklahoma Golf Association Four-Ball Championship. Funk and Wilkins were five shots better than the runners-up, Jeff Coffman and Brian Birchell, who shared the lead with the victors heading into Tuesday's final round. The winners finished with a stellar 18-under total for the two rounds. The 9-under Funk and Wilkins were able to put together in the final round was clearly the difference maker. Heath Myers and Scott Kedy finished eight shots back at 10-under.

About the Oklahoma Four-Ball

Open to pairs of amateurs who are residents of Oklahoma and members of the OGA. Format is 36- holes of four-ball stroke play.
