AUSTIN, Texas (April 17, 2011) -- The low round of the day in the final round at the Austin Open played at Grey Rock Golf Club in Austin was fired by professional Bryan Novoa of Loredo. Novoa, the assistant coach for the women's golf team at Texas Tech, shot a 67 and total of 139. He outpaced second place finishers Lonny Alexander of New Braunfels and amateur Edward Sanchez by four strokes. Sanchez is currently ranked 23rd in the Texas player of the year rankings.
