Rain Delays Harder Hall, Woods leads in the house
SEBRING, FL (Jan. 6, 2011) -- Instead of teeing off the golfers took cover as the rain and wind took over Thursday morning and delayed the start of the second round for one hour and 45 minutes. The Ben Roman division finished play but about half of the championship field was still on the course when play was suspended for darkness. All players had finished at least 12 holes and play will resume at 7:30 a.m. Cheyenne Woods, from Wake Forest, was the leader in the clubhouse with a second round 69 to finish the two rounds at 136. Four shots back is Erica Popson from the University of Tennessee. First round leader Ashleigh Albrecht was still out on the course with all of the other players who shot under par in the first round.
