A steady final round 70 allowed Craig Hurlbert to cruise to a four shot victory over Pearsall and Davidson in Montana Mid-Amateur Championship

LAUREL, MT. (Aug. 15, 2010) -- Craig Hurlbert from Hamilton fired a 68-72-70—210 to win the Montana Men’s State Mid Amateur Championship by four shots. Hurlbert began the day tied with Jerry Pearsall of Billings but a final round 74 would land him in a tie with fellow Billings resident Brandon Davidson who had an impressive 66 on the last day. 54-hole stroke play championship run by the Montana State Golf Assocaition. Must be a legal resident of Montana, a current member of the Montana State Golf Association, and have a maximum established handicap index of 15.0.
