East County Master and Sr: Wilson, Olds are Tops

Steve Wilson of Discovery Bay shot 68-67 to win the Master Division, while California Senior Amateur Champion Bob Olds won the Senior Division, continuing his solid play with a 3-under par total

Antioch, CA (July 31, 2005) -- Steve Wilson of Discovery Bay shot nine under par for two days to claim the title of East County Masters Champion. Masters are amateur golfers between the ages of 40 & 54. He shot 68 on Sat. and 67 on Sun. to beat a strong field including runner-up Terry Foreman who holds the course record at Lone Tree with a 63.

Bob Olds of Brentwood won the East County Senior Championship by firing three under par over the course of two days. His nearest competitor was Dave Carroll of Napa who shot one over par. This is the third time Bob has won the title.
