Sacramento County Senior: Burda wins third straight

Jeff Burda of Del Rio Country Club in Modesto shoots a final round 65 to win his third straight Sacramento County Senior Championship

CARMICHAEL, Calif. (May 13, 2010) -- Jeff Burda of Del Rio Country Club in Modesto has captured his third straight Sacramento County Senior Championship, firing a final round 65 to jump past first round leaders Dan Bieber (69-73=142) and Dave Baskins (69-75=144). Bieber tied with Mark Miller for second place at 142, while Jay Guerin took the Super Senior flight (who knew?) at 144. Carl Selkirk was one shot back. Andy Clark, a member of Ancil Hoffman, used his local knowledge to win the net division at 136. Clark carries a 10 handicap.
