Legendary Senior: Stanfield, Hullender Win

David Stanfield wins the Legendary Senior Amateur title, while Bob Hullender takes the Super Senior title

AUBURN, AL (May 27, 2009)--Bob Hullender birdied the third hole of a playoff with Spencer Sappington to win the Super Senior division (ages 65 and over) of the Legendary Senior Amateur Classic at Auburn University Club in Auburn, Ala.

The tournament was scheduled to take place from May 25-27, but the second round was cancelled due to rain, leaving Hullender, who is ranked No. 2 in the Golfweek/Titleist Super Senior Amateur rankings, with a final score of 10-under 134.

David Stanfield won the Senior division (ages 55-64) with a two-day total of 5-under 139, edging Don Crump by two shots.
