A course-record 62 gives the former world endurance champion all the cushion he needs at Mission Hills
Ron Pridmore traded racetracks for fairways this week—and still finished comfortably ahead of the field.
The former AMA Superbike champion and two-time FIM World Endurance champion captured the 2026 Trans-Mississippi Senior Amateur Championship at Mission Hills Country Club’s Pete Dye Course in Rancho Mirage, Calif., posting rounds of 62, 72, and 72 to finish at 10-under 206.
Pridmore’s opening-round 62 set the tone for the week. The 10-under effort established a new course record on the Pete Dye Challenge Course and ultimately provided enough separation for a three-shot victory. Now working as a MotoAmerica commentator for Fox Sports, Pridmore showed the same poise and consistency that defined his racing career.

Former champions filled the leaderboard behind him. Jon Lindstrom of Denver, Colo., the 2023 champion, finished third at 4-under 212 after rounds of 71, 71, and 70. Michael McCoy of Norwalk, Iowa, winner in 2018, tied for fourth at 3-under 213, while defending champion Terrence Miskell of New Braunfels, Texas, tied for sixth at 1-under 215.
Pridmore also arrived in form, having recently teamed with Dick Engel to win the SCGA Senior Foursomes Championship.
In the Super Senior division, Jon Valuck of Scottsdale, Ariz., earned a one-shot victory at 2-over 218 (76-71-71), edging Chuck Gardner of Texarkana, Texas. Defending champion Mark Morgan of Shingle Springs, Calif., finished tied for third at 4-over 220.
The Legends division went to Casey Boyns of Monterey, Calif., who posted 1-under 215 (72-72-71) for a two-shot victory over Steve Bell of Missoula, Mont., and Mark Addington of Overland Park, Kan.
