The 2026 AmateurGolf.com Two Man Links and Father & Son at Sand Valley is complete, with champions crowned across five divisions after three tournament rounds on three of Sand Valley’s unforgettable courses.
The championship is now official following a memorable week in Nekoosa, Wisconsin, where teams competed across Sedge Valley, Mammoth Dunes, The Lido, and Sand Valley. Below is a division-by-division look at how the tournament finished.
Chad LaBarre (Norwalk, IA) and Gary Ellis (Clive, IA) won the Open Division at 7-under 206, closing with a final-round 69 to finish six shots clear. Charlie Majorana (Portsmouth, VA) and Jimmy Anderson (Chesapeake, VA) finished second at 8-under 205, three shots back, after a final-round 66.

Amaan Kanji (Oakland, CA) and Umesh Patel (Oakland, CA) won the Father & Son Gross title at 3-under 210, closing with a final-round 70. Art Sellinger (Southlake, TX) and Basil Azim (Roanoke, TX) finished runner-up at even-par 213, three shots behind, also closing with a final-round 70.

Some tournaments are built around competition. Others are built around the places that make golf unforgettable. The AmateurGolf.com 2026 Two Man Links and Father & Son at Sand Valley presented by Titleist delivered both.
Held May 14-18, 2026 in Nekoosa, Wisconsin, the championship returned to Sand Valley Resort for its sixth annual edition, featuring tournament rounds across Sedge Valley, Mammoth Dunes, The Lido, and Sand Valley.
Sand Valley opened its original Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw course on May 2, 2017, on 1,700 acres of glacial sand dunes in central Wisconsin. The resort sits under the Keiser family’s Dream Golf umbrella — the destination-golf company founded by Mike Keiser with Bandon Dunes in 1999 and now operated by his sons Michael and Chris Keiser, with five courses open today and a sixth, The Commons, scheduled to debut in 2026.
That spirit remained at the center of the event—part championship, part golf trip, and part shared experience across one of the premier destinations in modern American golf.
Titleist and Fujikura headlined the sponsor lineup for the Sand Valley championship, supporting a week built around competition, equipment, and the player experience.
The week also featured an exclusive opportunity to test the all-new GTS lineup with Titleist product experts.
The Two Man Links and Father & Son at Sand Valley was a best-ball championship. Teams competed over multiple tournament rounds, with the best score from the side counting on each hole.
The event included the Two Man Links competition along with a dedicated Father & Son Championship, with separate gross and net prizes awarded within the Father & Son division. Net scoring was based on 80 percent of course handicap, with a maximum of 18 strokes per player, using each player’s lowest GHIN index from the past year.
The suggested combined maximum team handicap was 36.0. Orange Tees were standard, while players age 65 and older could elect to play the Sand Tees.
The championship opened Friday at Sedge Valley, the newest course in the Sand Valley rotation and an exclusive opportunity for players to test the all-new GTS lineup with Titleist product experts.
Designed by Tom Doak, Sedge Valley asked players to think their way around the course with precise approaches, subtle green complexes, and strategy that immediately brought best-ball decisions into play.
Tee times: 8:00am-11:30am.
Saturday’s second round moved to Mammoth Dunes, where the scale of the course and the width of the playing corridors created opportunities for aggressive team golf.
In a best-ball format, Mammoth Dunes rewarded bold swings and smart risk-taking, and the leaderboard began to take shape as contenders emerged in every division.
Tee times: 8:00am-11:30am.
The third round took players to The Lido, one of the most distinctive courses in the Sand Valley lineup and a major highlight of the week.
With bold architecture, classic strategy, and demanding green complexes, The Lido tested patience, precision, and team decision-making before the championship turned toward the final round. Caddies were required for the Lido round and were not included in the entry fee.
The Lido is a down-to-the-inch recreation of C.B. Macdonald’s legendary 1914–1917 Long Island original — a course many considered the finest in the world before the U.S. Navy plowed it under during World War II.
Eight decades later, Chicago golf historian Peter Flory rebuilt every hole inside a video-game simulation from old photographs and aerials. Tom Doak and his Renaissance Golf Design team then translated that model onto 200 acres of central Wisconsin sand using GPS-guided bulldozers accurate to the millimeter — even matching the orientation of the holes to the prevailing wind direction of the original site on Long Island Sound.
The championship banquet dinner followed Sunday evening at Aldo’s at 7:00pm.
The championship concluded Monday, May 18 on Sand Valley, the resort’s original course designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw.
Firm, strategic, and shaped by the sandy landscape of central Wisconsin, Sand Valley provided a fitting final stage for the Two Man Links and Father & Son Championship, where every division was decided before the awards ceremony immediately following play.
Final round: Split tees from 7:00am-8:45am.
