Round 1 of the 2026 Two-Man Links Championship at Sand Valley is underway on Sedge Valley
Four rounds, four Sand Valley courses, and a 72-hole best-ball championship built for teams, families, and one of the game’s great modern golf destinations.
Some tournaments are built around competition. Others are built around the places that make golf unforgettable. The AmateurGolf.com 2026 Two Man Links and Father & Son at Sand Valley presented by Titleist brings both together.
Set for May 14-18, 2026 in Nekoosa, Wisconsin, the championship returns to Sand Valley Resort for its sixth annual edition, featuring four tournament rounds across Sedge Valley, Mammoth Dunes, The Lido, and Sand Valley.
That spirit sits at the center of the event—part championship, part golf trip, and part shared experience across one of the premier destinations in modern American golf.
Titleist and Fujikura headline the sponsor lineup for the Sand Valley championship, supporting a week built around competition, equipment, and the player experience.
The week also includes an exclusive opportunity to test the all-new GTS lineup with Titleist product experts.
The Two Man Links and Father & Son at Sand Valley is a 72-hole best-ball championship. Teams compete over four tournament rounds, with the best score from the side counting on each hole.
The event includes the Two Man Links competition along with a dedicated Father & Son Championship, with separate gross and net prizes awarded within the Father & Son division.
Net scoring is based on 80 percent of course handicap, with a maximum of 18 strokes per player, using each player’s lowest GHIN index from the past year.
The suggested combined maximum team handicap is 36.0. Orange Tees are standard, while players age 65 and older may elect to play the Sand Tees.
The championship opens Friday, May 15 at Sedge Valley, the newest course in the Sand Valley rotation and an exclusive opportunity to test the all new GTS lineup with Titleist product experts.
Designed by Tom Doak, Sedge Valley asks players to think their way around the course with precise approaches, subtle green complexes, and strategy that should immediately bring best-ball decisions into play.
Tee times: 8:00am-11:30am.
Saturday’s second round moves to Mammoth Dunes, where the scale of the course and the width of the playing corridors create opportunities for aggressive team golf.
In a best-ball format, Mammoth Dunes can reward bold swings and smart risk-taking. Teams that find momentum here can quickly move up the leaderboard.
Tee times: 8:00am-11:30am.
The third round takes players to The Lido, one of the most distinctive courses in the Sand Valley lineup and a major highlight of the week.
With bold architecture, classic strategy, and demanding green complexes, The Lido will test patience, precision, and team decision-making before the championship turns toward the final round.
The Lido round includes tee times from 10:00am-1:30pm. Caddies are required and are not included in the entry fee.
The championship banquet dinner will follow Sunday evening at Aldo’s at 7:00pm.
The championship concludes Monday, May 18 on Sand Valley, the resort’s original course designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw.
Firm, strategic, and shaped by the sandy landscape of central Wisconsin, Sand Valley provides a fitting final stage for the Two Man Links and Father & Son Championship.
Final round: Split tees from 7:00am-8:45am. Players should check out before play, with the awards ceremony scheduled immediately following the round.
