Titleist expands GTS lineup with new GTS2 and GTS3 fairway metals
Built for the top end of the bag, the new Titleist GTS fairway metals pair higher flight, lower spin and more forgiveness with two distinct profiles for players who attack fairway woods in different ways.
Titleist is positioning the new GTS fairway metals as a more versatile, more forgiving and more customizable option for players looking to optimize the top end of the bag. Both models feature wraparound composite crowns, forged L-Cup face technology, flatter sole designs and new adjustable heel-toe weighting.
Lower and deeper CG positions are designed to help launch the ball higher while keeping spin under control.
More crown-wrap composite material frees discretionary weight that can be moved lower and deeper in the head.
Interchangeable heel-toe flat weights allow fitters to fine-tune CG location and shot-shape bias.
More composite material wraps around the sides of the clubhead, saving weight and helping move mass lower and deeper for higher launch, lower spin and added forgiveness.
GTS2 offers a shallower face and larger address profile, while GTS3 has a deeper face and more compact footprint. Both models use flatter sole designs to help the leading edge sit more flush to the turf.
Both models use interchangeable heel-toe flat weights. Standard builds place an 11-gram weight in the heel and a 5-gram weight in the toe; the weights can be flipped to shift CG toward the toe and promote more fade bias.
The forged L-Cup face uses a high-strength stainless steel insert that wraps around the bottom of the face to help preserve ball speed and launch conditions on low-face strikes.
A polished silver clubface is designed to help players see more loft at address, with Titleist citing tour feedback that the look can influence delivery and strike quality.
The two-model setup gives players a clearer choice between a shallower, larger fairway profile and a deeper, more compact fairway profile.

GTS2 is designed for players with more sweeping deliveries with their fairway metals. The model features a shallower face and larger profile than GTS3, with Titleist noting that the new face height was influenced by tour feedback and made shallower than the previous GT2 fairway.
| Spec | GTS2 Fairway |
|---|---|
| Player profile | Golfers with more sweeping deliveries who prefer a shallower fairway face and larger look at address |
| Model shape | Shallower face height and larger address profile than GTS3 |
| Loft options | 13.5°15.0°16.5°18.0°21.0° |
| Face profile note | Each loft uses a shallower profile except 13.5°, which maintains a slightly taller face |
| Standard dual-weight setup | 11g heel weight / 5g toe weight |
| Adjustability | Heel-toe CG adjustability through interchangeable flat weights; weights can be flipped to move CG toward the toe and promote more fade bias |
| Key technologies | Wraparound composite crown, forged L-Cup face, flatter sole design, polished clubface, dual-weighting system |
| Best fit | Players who want a fairway metal that launches easily from the turf while maintaining ball speed and forgiveness |

GTS3 is designed for players who deliver fairway metals with more of a descending strike. It has a deeper face and more compact profile than GTS2, and the model now includes a 21-degree option to give players another Titleist 7-wood profile.
| Spec | GTS3 Fairway |
|---|---|
| Player profile | Golfers who hit down on the ball more with their fairway metals and prefer a deeper face |
| Model shape | Deeper face and more compact address profile than GTS2 |
| Loft options | 15.0°16.5°18.0°21.0° |
| Lineup note | New 21-degree offering gives players two distinct Titleist 7-wood-style profiles across the GTS fairway lineup |
| Standard dual-weight setup | 11g heel weight / 5g toe weight |
| Adjustability | Replaces the prior-generation track weight system with adjustable heel-toe flat weights |
| Key technologies | Wraparound composite crown, forged L-Cup face, flatter sole design, polished clubface, dual-weighting system |
| Best fit | Players who want a more compact, deeper-faced fairway metal with added CG tuning and control |
| Category | GTS2 Fairway | GTS3 Fairway |
|---|---|---|
| Primary profile | Shallower face, larger footprint | Deeper face, compact footprint |
| Typical delivery fit | More sweeping fairway-metal delivery | More downward fairway-metal delivery |
| Loft range | 13.5°, 15.0°, 16.5°, 18.0°, 21.0° | 15.0°, 16.5°, 18.0°, 21.0° |
| Weighting | 11g heel / 5g toe standard | 11g heel / 5g toe standard |
| Shot-shape tuning | Heel-toe flat weights can be adjusted or flipped | Heel-toe flat weights can be adjusted or flipped |
| Turf interaction | Flatter sole design for better turf performance | Flatter sole design for better turf performance |
| Best player match | Player seeking easy launch, confidence at address and forgiveness from the turf | Player seeking a compact look, deeper face and more controlled fairway-metal flight |
The central performance theme of the GTS fairway line is launch without excess spin. Titleist’s wraparound composite crown frees discretionary weight, allowing engineers to push CG lower and deeper. That lower/deeper CG setup is intended to create higher flight, lower spin and more stability, while the forged L-Cup face is aimed at protecting speed and launch on the low-face strikes that commonly happen when fairway woods are hit from the turf.
Titleist says the new GTS2 and GTS3 fairway metals are now available for fittings and pre-sale.
