A wire-to-wire performance and opening 63 power Yoon to a five-shot victory in the desert
Andy Yoon delivered a composed, front-running performance to claim his first professional victory at the 2026 Southern California Open at Indian Wells Golf Resort.
The Cerritos, Calif., native opened with a tournament-low 9-under 63 and never gave the field a chance to catch up, finishing at 14-under 199 (63-70-66) to win by five shots on the Players Course. In firm, fast conditions, Yoon set the tone early and controlled the tournament throughout.
