The 25th AmateurGolf.com Two-Man Links and Father & Son Championship is underway at Bandon Dunes, with live scoring, division leaders, and round-by-round coverage all week long.
Some tournaments mark a date on the calendar. Others define a season. The AmateurGolf.com Two-Man Links and Father & Son Championship at Bandon Dunes is one of those events.
Now in its 25th year, the championship once again brings players from across the United States and Canada to the southern Oregon coast for four days of walking golf, team competition, and one of the most distinctive experiences in amateur golf. The format remains one of AmateurGolf.com’s signature offerings: serious competition, unforgettable courses, and the kind of shared memories that turn an event into a tradition.
It’s a perspective that only comes with time. Over the past quarter century, this championship has done more than crown winners — it has introduced thousands of golfers to Bandon Dunes and the kind of golf experience that stays with you long after the final round.
On opening day at Old Macdonald, that impact is easy to see. First-timers take in the scale of the property, returning players fall back into rhythm, and every group begins writing its own version of what has become one of AmateurGolf.com’s defining traditions.
This article will serve as the full coverage hub for the week, with updated results, leaderboard movement, and round recaps as the championship progresses from Old Macdonald to Sheep Ranch, Pacific Dunes, and Bandon Dunes.
Bandon Dunes has long been one of the game’s purest destinations, and this championship taps directly into that identity. No carts. No shortcuts. No hiding from the weather. Just links golf as it was meant to be played.
The 2026 field will take on Old Macdonald, Sheep Ranch, Pacific Dunes, and Bandon Dunes over four days, with players competing in Open, Senior, Net, and Father & Son divisions. It is a championship built on partnership, adaptability, and the ability to handle changing conditions from one round to the next.
Four courses. Four completely different looks. One constant demand: think, adapt, and trust your partner.
This year’s championship is proudly presented by Callaway Golf and Fujikura, two brands that are also enhancing the player experience on-site throughout the week at Bandon Dunes.
Try the new Callaway Quantum lineup and get fit for Fujikura’s flagship VENTUS shafts at the Practice Center during championship week.
Step onto the range and hit the new Callaway Quantum drivers, fairways, and hybrids before you tee it up at Bandon.
Note: Quantum woods only — no irons or wedges. Self-guided demo; no Callaway staff on-site.
Fujikura’s team will be on-site to help players find the right shaft fit and test the company’s flagship VENTUS models side by side.
The championship opened Friday at Old Macdonald, a course inspired by the strategic ideals of Charles Blair Macdonald and one of the most distinctive tests at Bandon Dunes Resort. The oversized greens, bold contours, and angle-based design asked players to think their way around the course from the opening tee shot.
In the Open Division, Jeff Eisman and Monte McNew of Springfield, Missouri opened with a 3-under 68 to take the first-round lead. They also moved to the top of the Senior Division and the Open Net leaderboard, making them the early team to catch after Day 1.
In the Father & Son Division, Duke Heise and Shane Heise posted a 2-under 69 to lead the gross competition, while Robert Stone and Tyler Stone used a net 64 to take the opening lead in Father & Son net.
| Division | Leader(s) | Score | To Par |
|---|---|---|---|
| Open | Jeff Eisman + Monte McNew | 68 | -3 |
| Senior | Jeff Eisman + Monte McNew | 68 | -3 |
| Father & Son | Duke Heise + Shane Heise | 69 | -2 |
| Open Net | Jeff Eisman + Monte McNew | 64 | -7 |
| Father & Son Net | Robert Stone + Tyler Stone | 64 | -7 |
With Old Macdonald in the books, the championship moves to Sheep Ranch, where the test changes immediately. The visuals open up, the coastline becomes a constant companion, and the wind often becomes the biggest factor on the course.
That is part of what makes this event so compelling. Each round reveals something different, and each course shifts the shape of the leaderboard. Early leads matter at Bandon — but they rarely feel safe.
One round complete. Three more chapters to go on the Oregon coast.
