Father & Son Champions Crowned | AmateurGolf.com 2026 Two Man Links and Father & Son
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. — The Father & Son divisions at the AmateurGolf.com 2026 Two Man Links and Father & Son at Pebble Beach presented by Cobra Puma Golf delivered exactly what the setting promises: family competition, meaningful golf, and a champion’s finish on one of the game’s most iconic closing holes.

"That was pretty cool. Pretty cool. More importantly, its fun for me to be here with my son in the Father Son. I think that was the top of the mark for and opportunity for us to be together"
-Cory Hurley on playing with his son, Henry, in the Father Son division.
In the Gross division, Cory Hurley and Henry Hurley separated themselves from the field, posting rounds of 66-69-65 to finish at 15-under-par 200 and claim the title by seven shots. The numbers alone were impressive. The story behind them was even better.
Playing the white tees at roughly 6,000 yards, Henry Hurley — a junior in high school and clearly a future Division I college player — did it all while using a rental driver after his own was broken in transit. It didn’t matter. He still shot in the 60s all three days on his own ball, turning a difficult equipment situation into one of the most memorable performances of the week.
The highlights kept coming. On Saturday at Spyglass Hill, Henry made eagle on No. 11. Then on Sunday, with Pebble Beach as the backdrop and a championship already within reach, he put an exclamation point on the week by making eagle on the famous 18th hole at Pebble Beach. It was the perfect ending to a special father-son run — one built on low scoring, poise, and the kind of closing flourish that belongs at Pebble.
Ethan Hejna and Tony Hejna finished runner-up in the Gross division at 9-under-par 206, while Jonathan Alden and Robert Alden took third at 5-under-par 210. Jim Haire and Paul Haire shared fourth at 2-under 213 with Jim Coleman and Palmer Coleman.

The Net division belonged to the Hejnas. After finishing second in Gross, Ethan and Tony Hejna closed out the week with the Net title at 15-under-par 200, courtesy of rounds of 64-66-70. It capped a consistently excellent week and put them on top of a deep Father & Son field.
Casey and Chris Craig made the biggest final-round charge, firing a closing 64 to reach 12-under-par 203 and finish second. The Gross champions, the Hurleys, added another strong showing by finishing third in Net at 9-under-par 206. Mike and Robin Defay tied Brad and Tanner Franklin for fourth at 5-under-par 210.
