Registration for the Florida Azalea Amateur at Palatka Golf Club in Palatka, Florida, closes on March 13. The prestigious state-sanctioned stroke-play championship will be contested March 20–22 with a 156-player field and a $250 entry fee, traditionally drawing one of the strongest amateur fields in the Southeast.

Running alongside the main event is the Florida Azalea Senior Amateur Championship, scheduled for March 13–15 at the same venue. The senior division offers experienced competitors a chance to compete in a major Florida amateur event. One of the most prestigious junior tournaments in the country begins this week as the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley tees off March 11 at Sage Valley Golf Club in Graniteville, South Carolina.
