Heavy winds wiped out the last 18 holes, freezing the leaderboard after 36 — and the Cardinal were already in front. Stanford posted rounds of 284-279 to finish at 5-under 563, three shots clear of Texas Tech (291-275—566, -2), last year’s champions.

Only three teams in the 24-team field managed to finish under par. Oregon State was third at 1-under, while the remaining 21 teams were left over par in brutal conditions. Defending champion San Diego finished tied for eighth.

For Stanford, it was a familiar result. The Cardinal claimed their third team title at The Prestige, adding to victories in 2006 and 2014.

They also nearly had the individual medalist.

Oregon senior Aiden Krafft secured the title at 5-under 137 (69-68) when play was called. It marked his second collegiate win — and his best result this season — following his victory at the 2025 Sahalee Players Championship. Krafft made five birdies in each round and now has nine under-par rounds on the year.

Stanford placed four players inside the top 20, led by sophomore Ratchanon Chantananuwat (72-67) and senior Dean Greyserman (70-69), who shared T-2 at 3-under, two shots back of Krafft. Chantananuwat, the former Asian Tour winner as a 15-year-old amateur, again showed why he remains one of college golf’s most proven talents.

Freshman Eden Cui finished T-12 at even-par (69-73), and senior Nathan Wang tied for 19th at 2-over.

No final round. No drama. Just 36 holes of golf proved enough.

This is the 26th iteration of the tournament and the 23rd year at PGA West.
The tournament has included U.S. Open Champions Wyndham Clark, Jon Rahm, and Gary Woodland and 2023 Ryder Cup participants Ludvig Aberg, Victor Hovland, Jon Rahm, Sam Burns, Clark, Max Homa, and Xander Schauffele.
