Jerry Ledzinski fired a closing 6-under 64 to win the 2026 Pacific Grove City Championship at 10-under.
The AmateurGolf.com 2026 Pacific Grove City Championship finished with a Sunday push worthy of the venue’s ocean-side closing stretch. After sitting in the lead mix following Round 1, Jerry Ledzinski delivered the round of the tournament—a 6-under 64—to claim the Championship Division title at 10-under 130 (66-64).
Ledzinski won by three shots over Jackson Suh (-7, 133). Erin Lee and Luke Swanson tied for third at -6, 134, while the chase pack stayed within reach until Pacific Grove’s exposed finish demanded committed ball flights and clean execution.
Ledzinski separated from the field with a closing 64 on Sunday, turning a tight race into a clear win at -10
With 2025 champion Mitchell Hoey not listed in this year’s player list, the Championship trophy was guaranteed to have a new name in 2026—and Ledzinski took full advantage.
The week also featured the return of NCGA Hall-of-Famer Randy Haag, who finished third in the Senior Championship race, adding another strong Pacific Grove result to his tournament resume.

Pacific Grove’s coastline finish rarely gives anything away, and 2026 was no exception—but Ledzinski’s closing 64 turned a crowded leaderboard into a statement win. With familiar contenders returning and the ocean stretch continuing to define the tournament, this championship keeps cementing itself as one of the most compelling two-day tests on the West Coast.
Flashback (2025): Mitchell Hoey won last year with a closing 64 to finish 8-under, while Bob McCallister won the Senior title in a playoff over Daniel O’Connor and Russell Humphrey.
