The USGA announced 26 qualifying sites for the 81st U.S. Women’s Open, set for June 4–7 at Riviera.
36-hole qualifying set at 26 sites from April 20 to May 13
LIBERTY CORNER, N.J. (Feb. 11, 2026) – The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced the qualifying sites for the 81st U.S. Women’s Open Championship Presented by Ally, which will be held June 4-7 at The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif. This will be the first U.S. Women’s Open held at the club and the first in championship history staged in Greater Los Angeles.
Conducted over 36 holes, qualifying will be held at 26 sites across the United States, along with one each in Canada, England and Japan between April 20 and May 13. Online entry applications open today, and will continue through Wednesday, April 1, at 5 p.m. EDT (champs.usga.org).
“The USGA is grateful for the collaboration between the Allied Golf Associations, international federations and professional tours that make qualifying possible,” said USGA Chief Championships Officer John Bodenhamer. “These organizations provide thousands of professional and amateur golfers around the world an opportunity to compete in the most prestigious championship in women’s golf. We are excited to bring this storied event to Los Angeles for the first time and deliver an outstanding experience for the game’s greatest players.”
