Ein Kim surges late to win 2025 Dixie Women’s Amateur at Eagle Trace
Coral Springs, Fla. • December 12, 2025
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — Ein Kim capped a composed and methodical week at Eagle Trace Golf Club with a championship performance, winning the 2025 Dixie Women’s Amateur at 12-under-par 276. The Irvine, Calif., native separated herself through consistency rather than flash, posting rounds of 70-68-69-69 to claim a two-shot victory in one of the strongest women’s amateur fields of the winter.
Kim positioned herself early with a steady opening round and moved into firm control with a second-round 68. As conditions grew firmer and pressure mounted over the final two rounds, she never relinquished her advantage, answering every challenge with patient decision-making and precise iron play on a layout that punishes impatience.
The closest threat came from Scarlett Schremmer of Birmingham, Ala., who surged up the leaderboard with a final-round 66 to finish solo second at 10-under 278. Despite the late charge, Kim’s steady closing stretch — highlighted by clean pars and timely birdies — ensured the outcome was never fully in doubt.

Eagle Trace once again proved to be a complete examination of a player’s game. While early rounds offered scoring chances, firm greens, crosswinds, and demanding approach shots prevented anyone from pulling away comfortably. Kim’s ability to avoid mistakes and accept pars proved decisive over 72 holes.
Her back-to-back 69s over the final two rounds kept the pressure squarely on the chasing pack, even as Schremmer and others attempted to close the gap. In the end, Kim’s steady execution and poise under pressure defined the championship.
Kim is one of the most accomplished junior golfers in the United States and continues to build a resume that translates seamlessly to elite amateur competition. A native of Irvine, California, she is a member of the Class of 2028 and has consistently ranked among the top players in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
A two-time AJGA champion, Kim owns victories at the 2024 Coca-Cola Junior Championship at Sugarloaf and the 2025 UHY Baltimore Junior, along with multiple top-five finishes in stacked national fields. She has also earned medalist honors at an adidas Junior All-Star Qualifier and qualified for the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship.
Her performance at the Dixie Women’s Amateur — four rounds without a score worse than 70 — highlighted the maturity, discipline, and competitive edge that have made her one of Southern California’s standout junior players. The win places her alongside a growing list of Dixie champions who have gone on to collegiate and professional success.
The Dixie Amateur dates back to 1924 and remains one of the most historic tournaments in American amateur golf. The women’s championship, introduced in 2002, has consistently attracted elite juniors, collegiate standouts, and international players to South Florida.
Played as a 72-hole stroke-play invitational, the Dixie Women’s Amateur offers a rare December test against a championship layout and continues to serve as a proving ground for future stars of the game.
